Math & Science Specialty Program Meetings

There will be two information nights for parents of 5th graders.

On November 19th, there will be a general specialty program meeting from 7:00-8:30 at Stonewall Middle School.

On January 6th, there will be an information meeting here at Marsteller from 7:00-8:30. (If canceled for snow, we will meet on the 13th of January)

Overview

The Math/Science Specialty Program...

...is an interest-based program where we provide students with opportunities to explore in-depth mathematical and scientific concepts while developing their critical thinking skills.

...follows the Virginia SOLs and the Prince William County curriculum (same curriculum, but because the students have a high interest, you can go broader and deeper into the topics.)

...expects students to meet academic and behavioral standards (no grades less than a "C" and no "U"s in conduct or work habits)
